Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Corn syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 cups Chex cereal
  • 2 cups Pretzels
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F and spread cereal, pretzels, and pecans in a large roasting pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar and corn syrup; bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Cook for 3 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda (mixture will foam).
  4. Pour the warm praline sauce evenly over the snack mix, tossing to coat.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes for even caramelization.
  6. Spread onto parchment to cool completely.
  7. Break into clusters and store airtight.
