Description
A quick and delicious shrimp lo mein recipe that is better than takeout, ready in under 30 minutes.

- 1 lb Large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 8 oz Lo mein noodles
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 Bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 Carrot (julienned)
- 2 Green onions (sliced)
- 1 cup Bean sprouts
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat; sear shrimp until pink and just cooked, then remove.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic, ginger, and vegetables until crisp-tender.
- Add cooked noodles and pour in the sauce; toss quickly to coat evenly.
- Return shrimp to the pan and stir-fry until everything is glossy and hot.
- Finish with green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra spice, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Feel free to substitute vegetables based on your preference.
- Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
