Ingredients
Scale
- 1 prepared pizza dough
- 1 cup sliced dill pickles (patted dry)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and lightly oil a pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Roll out pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and brush edges with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, garlic, dill, and black pepper until smooth.
- Spread the creamy dill sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella evenly on top, then layer sliced dill pickles across the pizza.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly with light browning.
- Cool slightly, sprinkle with extra dill if desired, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Ensure dill pickles are patted dry to prevent a soggy crust.
- Fresh dill enhances the flavor, but dried dill can be used as a substitute.
