Ingredients
- Potato gnocchi
- Marinara or tomato sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Spinach
- Ricotta or cream cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Garlic
- Olive oil
- Italian seasoning
- Basil
Instructions
- Sauté garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, seasoning, and fresh spinach; simmer until wilted.
- Stir in gnocchi directly (no need to pre-boil).
- Add dollops of ricotta or cream cheese, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until bubbling and golden.
- Broil 1–2 minutes for extra browning.
- Finish with fresh basil and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute fresh spinach with frozen spinach, just make sure to thaw and drain it well.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
