Description

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup strawberry jam
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk
  • Rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt separately, then combine with wet mixture until a soft dough forms. Chill 20 minutes.
  3. Roll dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut into rectangles or circles. Place half on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Spoon 1 tablespoon strawberry jam into the center, leaving a small border. Top with remaining dough pieces and gently seal edges.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden. Cool completely.
  6. Whisk powdered sugar and milk into a thick glaze. Spread over tops and immediately add rainbow sprinkles.
  7. Let glaze set before slicing to reveal the jam-filled center.
