Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup milk + 2 tbsp strawberry syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Strawberry filling or jam (for center)
  • Pink & white buttercream frosting
  • Maraschino cherries & sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour and baking powder, alternating with milk and strawberry syrup.
  4. Fill cupcake liners ¾ full and bake 18–20 minutes until golden.
  5. Cool completely, then core the center and fill with strawberry jam.
  6. Pipe swirls of pink and white frosting on top.
  7. Garnish each with a cherry and colorful sprinkles.
