Description
Crispy-edged pork belly glazed in a sweet-salty Korean sauce—fast, fiery, and absolutely addictive.

- 1 lb Pork belly slices
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce (or tamari)
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar or honey
- 2 tbsp Gochujang
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 2 Green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice pork belly into thick strips and pat dry.
- Sear pork belly in a hot skillet until deeply golden and crisp; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar.
- Pour sauce into skillet and toss pork to coat.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and clings.
- Finish with sesame oil and black pepper.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds; serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the level of gochujang for desired spiciness.
- Serve with steamed rice or lettuce wraps for a complete meal.
