Description

A creamy, fiery, Cajun-spiced pasta loaded with tender chicken, peppers, and bold heat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Penne pasta
  • 1 lb Chicken (seared, sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes or roasted red peppers
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken heavily with Cajun seasoning and sear in butter/oil until golden; slice.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic and add cream, Parmesan, more Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Simmer until thick and creamy.
  5. Stir in sliced chicken and cherry tomatoes/peppers.
  6. Toss in cooked penne until fully coated.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to taste for desired spiciness.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with sautéed mushrooms or tofu.
  • Can be served with a side salad for a complete meal.
