Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen edamame (in pods)
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Neutral oil
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • 2 Scallions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook edamame according to package directions; drain well.
  2. Heat neutral oil in a wide skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and chili flakes; sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in gochujang, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and broth.
  5. Simmer briefly until the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze.
  6. Add edamame and toss until evenly coated and caramelized.
  7. Finish with scallions and sesame seeds; serve hot.
