Instructions
- Cream base: Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, orange juice, vanilla, and zest.
- Dry mix: Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine: Add dry mixture to wet and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Shape: Scoop rounded tablespoons onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake 10–12 minutes at 350°F, just until edges set (they should stay soft). Cool completely.
- Make glaze: Mix powdered sugar with orange juice until pourable; adjust thickness as needed.
- Finish: Dip each cookie top into the orange glaze, sprinkle with orange sugar if desired, and let set.
