- 2 lbs Beef steak (cubed)
- 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes (chunked)
- 2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- Fresh parsley or chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season steak with salt, pepper, and paprika; sear briefly in olive oil until browned.
- Add potatoes, onion, and garlic to the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir lightly.
- Add seared steak and pour in beef broth and cream.
- Cover and cook on LOW until steak is tender and potatoes are soft (6–7 hours).
- Stir in shredded cheddar and cover until melted and creamy.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a combination of different cheeses.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or peas for added nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
