Ingredients

  • 1 cup dulce de leche
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Extra dulce de leche for layering
  • Whipped cream (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and pinch of salt until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip cold heavy cream to soft peaks.
  3. Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until light and airy.
  4. Fold in dulce de leche, leaving visible swirls for a marbled look.
  5. Spoon mousse into serving glasses, layering with extra dulce de leche between layers.
  6. Chill at least 1 hour to set and enhance flavor.
  7. Top with a drizzle of caramel before serving.
