Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage
  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Core the cabbage and boil whole for 8–10 minutes to soften leaves. Carefully separate leaves and pat dry.
  2. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer cabbage leaves, beef mixture, and shredded cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with cabbage on top.
  4. Mix panko with melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the top layer.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  6. Warm heavy cream with Dijon mustard in a small saucepan until slightly thickened.
  7. Slice and drizzle mustard cream over each serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
