- 1 large green cabbage
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or mozzarella)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Core the cabbage and boil whole for 8–10 minutes to soften leaves. Carefully separate leaves and pat dry.
- In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add ground beef, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- In a greased baking dish, layer cabbage leaves, beef mixture, and shredded cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with cabbage on top.
- Mix panko with melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the top layer.
- Bake at 375°F for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Warm heavy cream with Dijon mustard in a small saucepan until slightly thickened.
- Slice and drizzle mustard cream over each serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
