- 500g Pork mince
- 2 Puff pastry sheets
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup Cheese, grated
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Chili flakes
- Fresh herbs, chopped
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine pork mince, French onion soup mix, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, pepper, chili flakes, herbs, and grated cheese in a bowl.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut each in half lengthwise.
- Spoon sausage mixture evenly along the center of each pastry strip.
- Roll pastry tightly around filling, seam-side down.
- Slice into rolls and place on a lined baking tray.
- Brush with egg mixed with milk and sprinkle with extra herbs if desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (205°C) until puffed, deeply golden, and cooked through; rest briefly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed onions to the sausage mixture.
