Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings in a bowl.
- Add cold butter and work it into the flour until crumbly.
- Stir in cheddar, bacon, corn, and chives.
- Add milk or buttermilk and mix gently until a soft dough forms.
- Scoop or form 12 rustic rounds and place on a parchment-lined sheet.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm, perfect with eggs or enjoy on their own.

- For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder and paprika.
