Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Italian herb blend
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Dried oregano or rosemary (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Activate yeast with warm water and sugar until foamy.
  2. Mix flour, salt, garlic powder, and Italian herbs in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in yeast mixture and olive oil; knead until smooth and elastic.
  4. Fold shredded mozzarella and parmesan into the dough.
  5. Shape into a round loaf and let rise until doubled.
  6. Brush with olive oil, sprinkle extra herbs and cheese on top.
