Description

Bright, bouncy, jewel-toned gummies with a sparkling sugar finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 (3 oz) boxes flavored gelatin (different colors)
  • 3 packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1 ½ cups water (divided)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • Silicone dome mold

Instructions

  1. Lightly spray silicone molds with nonstick spray and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine ½ cup water and 1 flavored gelatin box. Sprinkle 1 packet unflavored gelatin over the top and let bloom 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add 1–2 tablespoons corn syrup and heat on low, stirring until fully dissolved (do not boil).
  4. Pour mixture carefully into dome molds. Repeat with remaining flavors.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully firm.
  6. Gently pop candies out of molds and roll lightly in granulated sugar for a frosted sparkle finish.
  7. Let sit at room temperature 30 minutes to slightly dry for that classic candy melt texture.

Notes

  • Ensure not to boil the mixture to maintain the right texture.
  • Experiment with different flavored gelatins for a variety of tastes.
