- 4 cups Carrots (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Water or broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh Parsley (or dill) for garnish
- Optional: pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Add sliced carrots to a skillet with butter, brown sugar, and a splash of water/broth.
- Bring to a simmer and cover for 5–7 minutes until carrots soften.
- Remove lid and continue cooking to reduce the liquid into a glossy glaze.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional cinnamon.
- Toss carrots to coat evenly in the caramelized sauce.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
- Serve warm with extra glaze drizzled over.

- For a richer flavor, use broth instead of water.
- Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
