Description

Crispy shells stuffed with seasoned beef, gooey melted cheese, and fresh toppings — a crave-worthy twist on taco night made right in the oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 hard taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup tomato salsa
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Olive oil spray (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking dish with foil.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with taco seasoning and onions until browned; stir in salsa.
  3. Arrange taco shells upright in the baking dish.
  4. Spoon beef mixture evenly into each shell and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and shells are lightly crisp.
  6. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and a drizzle of sour cream.
  7. Serve warm, straight from the baking dish for the perfect cheesy crunch.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding jalapeños or other toppings of your choice.
  • Make sure to keep an eye on the tacos while baking to prevent over-browning.
