Description
A tender, coffee-infused loaf packed with walnuts and topped with silky espresso buttercream.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Brewed strong coffee (cooled)
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Butter (for buttercream)
- 2 cups Powdered sugar
- 2 tsp Instant coffee dissolved in hot water
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in coffee and vanilla.
- Fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and chopped walnuts.
- Pour batter into a lined loaf tin and smooth the top.
- Bake until risen and a skewer comes out clean; cool completely.
- Whip buttercream ingredients until smooth and spread generously on top.
Notes
- Ensure the coffee is cooled before adding to the mixture.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the amount of instant coffee in the buttercream.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
