Description
Ultra-moist banana bread infused with coffee and topped with silky espresso buttercream.

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- ½ cup brewed strong coffee (cooled)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tbsp softened butter (for frosting)
- 1–2 tsp espresso powder
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- Chocolate-covered espresso beans (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and brewed coffee until smooth.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 55–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Beat softened butter, powdered sugar, espresso powder, and milk until smooth and fluffy.
- Spread espresso frosting generously over cooled loaf in thick swirls.
- Garnish with chocolate-covered espresso beans and slice.

- Ensure bananas are ripe for maximum sweetness.
- Adjust espresso powder to taste for frosting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
