- 4 Chicken breasts
- 4 Bacon strips, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 4 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, sear chicken on both sides until lightly golden; transfer to a baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk maple syrup, garlic, soy sauce, Dijon, and olive oil.
- Pour glaze over the chicken and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
- During the last 5 minutes, sprinkle cooked bacon on top and return to the oven.
- Remove when chicken is caramelized and tender, then spoon extra glaze from the pan over each piece.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the glaze for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
