- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup milk or cream
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- ½ lb ground beef or sausage (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in milk; add cheese and whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in cooked macaroni, season with salt and pepper, and stir until fully coated.
- Cook bacon until crispy; crumble and set aside. If using, brown the beef or sausage in the same pan.
- Lay tortillas flat and spoon mac and cheese down the center.
- Top with crumbled bacon and meat, then drizzle with hot sauce if desired.
- Fold and roll into burritos, seam-side down.
- Optional: Toast burritos in a hot skillet until golden and slightly crisp before serving.
