Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts (2 large, cut into strips)
  • Bowtie pasta (12 oz)
  • Lemon (1, juiced and zested)
  • Heavy cream (1 cup)
  • Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
  • Butter (3 tbsp)
  • Olive oil (1 tbsp)
  • Parmesan cheese (½ cup, grated)
  • Parsley (2 tbsp, chopped)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil bowtie pasta until al dente; drain and set aside with a bit of oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, lemon zest, and a touch of red pepper flakes.
  3. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet; cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and keep warm.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add lemon juice, cream, and Parmesan, stirring until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
  6. Top creamy pasta with the seared lemon garlic chicken.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan before serving hot.
