- 1 splash of rum (optional)

Instructions
- Mash ripe bananas in a bowl, then whisk in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and optional rum.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
- Fold dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined—do not overmix.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While warm, drizzle with a simple glaze (powdered sugar + splash of milk or rum).
- Top with fresh banana slices.
- Let cool slightly before slicing for the perfect soft crumb.
