- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Gel food coloring (light pink, optional)
- Extra powdered sugar (for snowflake dusting)
Instructions
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together until very fine.
- Whip egg whites, gradually adding sugar, until stiff glossy peaks form.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into meringue until smooth and lava-like.
- Pipe small rounds onto lined baking sheets; tap to release air bubbles.
- Rest shells 20–30 minutes until dry to the touch.
- Bake 14–16 minutes; cool completely.
- Fill with cherry-vanilla buttercream, sandwich, and dust lightly with powdered sugar.
