Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 12 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Orange food coloring (optional)
  • Candy pumpkins, mini cookies, and Halloween sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crush cookies into fine crumbs and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Prepare chocolate pudding with milk and fold in half of the whipped topping.
  4. Divide the cream cheese mixture in half and tint one portion orange with food coloring.
  5. Layer cookie crumbs, white cream layer, orange cream layer, pudding layer, and repeat until trifle bowl is full.
  6. Top with whipped topping, cookie crumbs, and Halloween candies.
  7. Chill 1 hour before serving for best texture.
