Description

Juicy Greek meat patties roasted alongside golden potatoes — a bright, herb-loaded Mediterranean one-pan dinner.


Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Potatoes (cut into chunks)
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Onion (grated)
  • Garlic
  • Egg
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oregano
  • Parsley
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: paprika, cumin, mustard

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with grated onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper; form into patties (biftekia).
  2. Toss potato chunks with olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread potatoes on a sheet pan and nestle biftekia around them.
  4. Drizzle everything lightly with more olive oil.
  5. Roast 25–30 minutes, flipping patties halfway, until potatoes are tender and meat is browned.
  6. Squeeze extra lemon over the pan for brightness.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
