- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup cooked orzo
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp fresh dill (optional but recommended)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter (for orzo finish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, dill, onion powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Form into evenly sized meatballs (about 1½ inches).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- While cooking, toss warm orzo with butter and a pinch of salt until glossy.
- Return all meatballs to the pan for 1–2 minutes to develop extra browning.
- Serve meatballs over buttered orzo and sprinkle with extra herbs and Parmesan.

- For added flavor, consider using different herbs based on your preference.
- Ensure the meatballs are cooked through by checking the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
