Description

Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Empanada dough discs
  • Curry powder
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Tomato paste
  • Beef broth
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Salt & pepper
  • Egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion in olive oil until soft; add garlic and cook briefly.
  2. Brown ground beef, breaking it up until fully cooked.
  3. Stir in curry powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add tomato paste and a splash of beef broth; simmer until thick and fragrant.
  5. Cool filling slightly, then spoon into empanada discs and seal edges.
  6. Brush with egg wash and arrange on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake until puffed and deeply golden; cool slightly before serving.
