Description

A quick and cheesy delight featuring crispy toasted bread packed with creamy tuna and gooey cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of tuna (drained)
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 slices of sandwich bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion or red onion
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon or yellow mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter (softened)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, onion, mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place one slice butter-side down and spread tuna mixture evenly on top.
  4. Add a generous layer of cheese, then top with the second bread slice (butter-side up).
  5. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 7–8 minutes, flip carefully, then cook another 5–7 minutes until golden and melty.
