Description

A decadent fusion of creamy cheesecake and rich German chocolate cake, topped with gooey coconut-pecan frosting and silky chocolate ganache.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix (or homemade base)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Prepare chocolate cake batter and pour half into a greased springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over cake layer.
  3. Add remaining cake batter on top and swirl slightly.
  4. Bake for 60–70 minutes until set. Cool completely, then chill for at least 4 hours.
  5. For topping, heat butter, brown sugar, milk, and egg yolks until thick, then stir in coconut and pecans. Cool slightly.
  6. Spread frosting on cheesecake, then drizzle with warm chocolate ganache.
  7. Garnish with extra pecans and serve chilled for a rich, layered indulgence.
