Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
- 1 cup mozzarella or provolone cheese
- 4 slices crusty sandwich bread
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Optional: mayo or garlic aioli
Instructions
- Toss shredded chicken with olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Lightly toast one side of the bread slices.
- Spread garlic butter (and aioli if using) on the toasted sides of the bread.
- Layer cheese, seasoned chicken, more cheese, then top with the remaining bread.
- Cook in a skillet or oven until the bread is deeply golden and the cheese melts.
- Flip carefully to crisp both sides evenly.
- Finish with chopped parsley and slice while hot.

- For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed onions or peppers.
- Serve with a side of chips or a salad for a complete meal.
