- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup vegetable oil

- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 8-inch round pans.
- Whisk dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another.
- Combine and mix until smooth, then divide batter evenly into pans.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean; cool completely.
- For buttercream, beat butter until fluffy, add powdered sugar and vanilla, and mix until creamy.
- Spread frosting evenly between cake layers.
- Dust top lightly with powdered sugar and serve!
