Description

Creamy, garlicky, sun-dried tomato goodness with perfectly seared shrimp—love at first bite.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 8 oz Pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper; sear in olive oil until golden, then remove.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth and cream; simmer gently to thicken.
  5. Stir in Parmesan, seasoning, and chili flakes until smooth.
  6. Return shrimp and pasta to the sauce; toss to coat, loosening with pasta water if needed.
  7. Finish with fresh herbs and extra Parmesan.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or vegetables for a different variation.
  • Make sure to reserve pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
