Ingredients

- 1 lb Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 8 oz Pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper; sear in olive oil until golden, then remove.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth and cream; simmer gently to thicken.
- Stir in Parmesan, seasoning, and chili flakes until smooth.
- Return shrimp and pasta to the sauce; toss to coat, loosening with pasta water if needed.
- Finish with fresh herbs and extra Parmesan.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute shrimp with chicken or vegetables for a different variation.
- Make sure to reserve pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency.
