Ingredients
- Fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
- Green olives (Castelvetrano or mixed)
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme)
- Garlic cloves, lightly crushed
- Red pepper flakes
- Lemon zest
- Roasted pistachios or pine nuts
- Salt & cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Drain mozzarella balls and pat dry gently.
- Add mozzarella and olives to a shallow serving bowl.
- Sprinkle in garlic, herbs, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour olive oil over until everything is mostly submerged.
- Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Let marinate at room temperature 20–30 minutes (or chill longer).
- Finish with nuts and serve with toothpicks or crusty bread.
