Description

Creamy mozzarella and briny olives bathed in herb-infused olive oil—effortless elegance for any snack board.


Ingredients

  • Fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • Green olives (Castelvetrano or mixed)
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme)
  • Garlic cloves, lightly crushed
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Lemon zest
  • Roasted pistachios or pine nuts
  • Salt & cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain mozzarella balls and pat dry gently.
  2. Add mozzarella and olives to a shallow serving bowl.
  3. Sprinkle in garlic, herbs, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour olive oil over until everything is mostly submerged.
  5. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  6. Let marinate at room temperature 20–30 minutes (or chill longer).
  7. Finish with nuts and serve with toothpicks or crusty bread.
