Description

A creamy, savory party cheese ball rolled in crunchy pecans—perfect with crackers or veggies.

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese (16 oz, softened)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup)
  • Green onions (2–3, chopped)
  • Pecans (1–1½ cups, chopped for rolling)
  • Garlic powder (½ tsp)
  • Onion powder (½ tsp)
  • Worcestershire sauce (1 tsp)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: crushed red pepper, parsley, or bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Shape mixture into a round ball using plastic wrap.
  3. Chill 20–30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Roll the ball in chopped pecans, pressing lightly so they stick.
  5. Chill until serving time for best slice-and-spread texture.
  6. Serve surrounded with crackers, pretzels, or veggie sticks.
  7. Store leftovers wrapped tightly in the fridge.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in crushed red pepper, parsley, or bacon bits.
