Ingredients

  • 5 large jalapeños, halved and seeded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, and bacon until smooth.
  2. Stuff each jalapeño half with the mixture, pressing gently.
  3. Dip stuffed halves in flour, then eggs, then breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep skillet or fryer.
  5. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and season lightly with salt.
  7. Serve warm with ranch or garlic dip.
