- 5 large jalapeños, halved and seeded
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar, and bacon until smooth.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the mixture, pressing gently.
- Dip stuffed halves in flour, then eggs, then breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep skillet or fryer.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and season lightly with salt.
- Serve warm with ranch or garlic dip.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of jalapeños based on your spice preference.
- For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon.
