Description
Crispy Bang Bang Chicken Sliders are golden-crispy chicken stacked with melty cheese and creamy spicy sauce on buttery sesame buns.
Ingredients
- Boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut slider-size)
- Buttermilk
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Bang Bang sauce (mayo + sweet chili sauce + sriracha)
- Slider buns with sesame seeds
- Sliced white cheese (provolone or mozzarella)
- Flour
- Eggs
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Salt & pepper
- Oil for frying or baking spray
- Butter (for toasting buns)
Instructions
- Slice chicken into small slider-sized cutlets and marinate in buttermilk for at least 15 minutes.
- In one bowl mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl beat eggs. In a third bowl add panko.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg, then coat well in panko.
- Bake at 375°F for 18–22 minutes (or fry until golden and crispy).
- Mix mayo, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make Bang Bang sauce.
- Toast buttered slider buns lightly until golden.
- Assemble sliders: crispy chicken, slice of cheese, generous spoon of sauce, then top bun. Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate in buttermilk longer if possible.
- Adjust the spiciness of the Bang Bang sauce by varying the amount of sriracha.
- These sliders can be baked or fried depending on your preference.
