- 4 tilapia fillets
- 1 cup roasted red peppers (blended smooth)
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup seafood or chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season tilapia with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear fish 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add butter and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in blended roasted red peppers and broth. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and red pepper flakes. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return tilapia to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer 4–5 minutes until fish is flaky and tender.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve over rice or crusty bread.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with rice or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
