Description

Flaky tilapia simmered in a smoky, velvety roasted red pepper cream sauce — bold flavor in under 25 minutes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 cup roasted red peppers (blended smooth)
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup seafood or chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season tilapia with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear fish 3–4 minutes per side until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add butter and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in blended roasted red peppers and broth. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream and red pepper flakes. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return tilapia to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer 4–5 minutes until fish is flaky and tender.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve over rice or crusty bread.

  • For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
