Ingredients

  • 8 oz Penne pasta
  • 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over low heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add heavy cream and warm gently without boiling.
  4. Crumble in gorgonzola and stir until melted and silky.
  5. Toss in cooked pasta, adding pasta water to loosen if needed.
  6. Fold in toasted walnuts and grated Parmesan.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
