Ingredients
- Ribeye or strip steaks
- Heavy cream
- Garlic
- Butter
- Olive oil
- Dijon mustard (optional for depth)
- Fresh parsley
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Pat steaks dry, season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat skillet with olive oil and sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness; remove and rest.
- In same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in cream and Dijon mustard; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add parsley and adjust seasoning.
- Return steaks briefly to coat with sauce.
- Plate steaks, spoon sauce generously over, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to check steak doneness.
- Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juices.
- Feel free to add other herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
