Description

A rich, glossy pasta piled high with savory beef and a silky garlic-Parmesan cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Linguine pasta
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Yellow onion, diced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme, for garnish
  • Reserved pasta water

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in well-salted boiling water until al dente; reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until soft, then add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently, then whisk in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  6. Return beef to the skillet, add linguine, and toss with reserved pasta water until glossy and coated.
  7. Finish with chopped parsley or thyme and extra Parmesan on top.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • Make sure to reserve enough pasta water to achieve the desired sauce consistency.
