Description

Golden-seared chicken and tender baby potatoes bathed in a silky Dijon cream sauce—elegant comfort in one pan.


Ingredients

  • 2 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb Baby potatoes
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a wide skillet over medium heat; season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear chicken on both sides until golden; remove and set aside.
  3. Add halved baby potatoes to the skillet; cook until lightly browned.
  4. Stir in butter and garlic; cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, Dijon mustard, cream, and Italian seasoning; simmer gently.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer until cooked through and sauce thickens.
  7. Spoon sauce over chicken and potatoes; adjust seasoning and serve.
