- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 2 cups frozen broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup crispy beef bacon, crumbled
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Whisk in flour, then slowly add milk and cream to form a smooth Alfredo sauce.
- Season the sauce with nutmeg, salt, and pepper; stir in Monterey Jack cheese until melted.
- Fold in the gnocchi, chicken, broccoli, and crumbled bacon until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven until bubbly and golden, about 20 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
