Description

A rich fusion of spaghetti and lasagna — layered with meaty sauce, creamy cheese, and baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti noodles
  • Ground beef
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Egg
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook spaghetti until al dente; drain and toss with a bit of marinara sauce.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef, drain fat, and stir in remaining sauce and seasoning.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, and parmesan until creamy.
  5. Layer half the spaghetti, ricotta mixture, and meat sauce in the dish; repeat layers.
  6. Top with mozzarella and bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Rest 10 minutes before slicing and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with sautéed vegetables or lentils.
  • Feel free to add extra herbs for more flavor.
  • Letting the dish rest before slicing helps maintain the layers.
