Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Orange extract
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 4 oz Dark chocolate (for ganache)
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • Chocolate orange slices (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk eggs and sugar until fluffy, then fold in flour and cocoa powder.
  3. Spread batter evenly and bake for 10–12 minutes until springy.
  4. Roll warm sponge in a towel dusted with powdered sugar; let cool.
  5. Whip cream with orange zest and extract until stiff.
  6. Unroll the cake, spread the orange cream, and roll tightly again.
  7. Cover with chocolate ganache, chill, and decorate with chocolate orange slices before serving.
