- 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1 cup Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, crushed
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 eggs
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Melt butter in a pan, whisk in flour to make a roux, then slowly add milk to create a smooth sauce.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted and creamy, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Combine the cheese sauce with cooked macaroni and mix well.
- Add beaten eggs to help bind the mixture.
- Press crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into each muffin cup to form a crust, then spoon in mac and cheese.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and set, then cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more crushed Cheetos on top before baking.
- These muffins can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
