Description

Juicy layers of seasoned beef, sautéed peppers, and melted cheese baked into the ultimate comfort loaf.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar mix
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions, garlic, and bell peppers until softened; set aside.
  2. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Form half the meat mixture into a loaf shape in a baking dish.
  4. Layer with sautéed peppers and half the cheese, then top with the remaining meat.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, then top with the rest of the cheese and bake another 10–15 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
