Description

A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring tender penne pasta tossed in a rich garlic-butter sauce with seasoned ground beef and plenty of melty cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Penne pasta
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Parmesan or mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 4 cloves Garlic, fresh minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil penne until al dente; reserve some pasta water and drain.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add beef back in and toss with garlic butter.
  5. Add cooked penne and a splash of pasta water to coat everything evenly.
  6. Stir in grated cheese until it melts into a creamy coating.
  7. Finish with parsley and extra cheese on top. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute the cheese with your favorite type.
  • Make sure not to overcook the penne for the best texture.
